M.J. grew up in the Pacific Northwest enjoying many outdoor activities until auto-immune issues (Lupus +) turned her into a pale, indoor dweller dependent on AC.
A Christian constantly under construction, she is a voracious reader who enjoys mysteries, comedies, science fiction, and fantasy.
After being diagnosed with Lupus she facilitated a support group for over 12 years attempting to educate and spread awareness of this challenging disease. During this time, she decided to write a book highlighting chronic illness issues in a humorous format.
Currently, M.J. is working on book three of ‘The Luna Chronicles’ as well as an anthology of short stories. She also enjoys helping as a beta reader for her fellow author friends. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, painting, and working with multiple writer’s groups. Her guilty pleasures are shortbread cookies with tea, bad “B” movies, and any kind of monster hunter TV show.
